Responsible Gaming at PMBet Tanzania

Gambling is entertainment — not a way to earn income or solve financial problems. PMBet Tanzania provides free tools to help you stay in control of your gambling activity. All tools are available immediately in your account settings with no fees and no waiting period.

Player protection tools

The following tools are available to every registered PMBet Tanzania player at no cost. Access them via Account → Responsible Gaming in the platform or app.

💰 Deposit limits Set a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum deposit amount in TZS. Limits take effect immediately. Increases require a 7-day cooling-off period before they apply.
⏱️ Session time limits Set a maximum session duration. The platform will notify you when your limit is reached and log you out automatically if you do not respond.
🔕 Reality checks Receive on-screen reminders at intervals you choose — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — showing your total time played and net result for the session.
🌙 Cool-off period Take a break from the platform for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a cool-off your account is suspended and no deposits or bets are accepted.
🚫 Self-exclusion Permanently or temporarily exclude yourself from PMBet Tanzania for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or indefinitely. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed during the chosen period.
📉 Loss limits Set a maximum net loss amount per day, week, or month. Once reached, betting and casino play are suspended for the remainder of the period.

Signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone regardless of income, age, or experience. The following are common warning signs:

  • Spending more time or money gambling than you planned or can afford
  • Chasing losses — placing more bets to recover money already lost
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling activity
  • Neglecting work, family, or social responsibilities because of gambling
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling
  • Hiding gambling activity from family or friends
  • Using gambling as a way to escape stress, debt, or personal problems

If you recognise any of these signs in your own behaviour, use the self-exclusion or cool-off tools above, or contact one of the support organisations listed below.

How to activate self-exclusion

  1. Log in to your PMBet Tanzania account on the website or Android app.
  2. Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion.
  3. Choose your exclusion period: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or indefinite.
  4. Confirm your choice — the exclusion takes effect within 24 hours.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address.

During self-exclusion, your account is suspended, all marketing communications are stopped, and you cannot create a new account using the same identity documents. To request early reversal of a temporary exclusion or extension of an indefinite exclusion, contact support@pmbet-tz.com.

Our responsible gaming policy

PMBet Tanzania is licensed by the Gaming Board of Tanzania (licence SBI000000034) and is required to maintain responsible gambling standards as a condition of that licence.[web:16][web:18] Our policy includes:
